Typing Goal Planner
Set a target WPM and a date to calculate the weekly increase needed to reach that target. The planner compares this schedule with your recent saved typing scores. It is a planning calculation, not a prediction of how quickly you will improve.
Complete comparable typing tests before setting a goal. Scores from code, numeric work, and different test settings are not equivalent, so use consistent practice conditions when interpreting an average.
Set a goal
How progress is tracked
Complete at least one 60-second Common typing test before setting a goal. Your baseline and current speed use up to five recent tests with exactly those settings. Word-count tests, other durations, other difficulties, other tools, and older scores without settings are excluded. With fewer than five matching tests the average is less stable; collect several comparable attempts before judging progress.
Everything here, including the goal itself, is saved only in your browser. It isn't tied to an account, and it won't follow you to another device. If you don't complete any sessions between visits, your progress simply won't have moved.
