Time Attack
This is the most direct speed test on the site: pick 30 or 60 seconds, then type as many words correctly as you can before the clock runs out. A mistake doesn't end anything, it just means retyping that word before you can move to the next one, so the only real cost of an error is the time it takes to fix it.
Your result is measured in words completed and an equivalent WPM, plus your overall accuracy across the run. Your best word count for each duration is saved locally, so every run is a race against your own previous best rather than anyone else's.
Use the same duration when comparing attempts. A strong thirty-second burst can be harder to sustain for a full minute, so keep those goals separate. Read each new word before accelerating into it, and notice how much time corrections consume. Try reducing those interruptions before attempting a faster pace across the entire round.

Use a timed typing test to check your WPM separately from game points. If the same keys cause mistakes, try weak-key practice, or return to all typing games to choose a different challenge.
