Business & Office Typing Practice

Office work runs on a specific register of writing: professional but efficient, full of stock phrases for emails, agendas, and meeting notes. This track practices core business vocabulary before moving into the actual phrasing patterns you'll type dozens of times a week in a professional inbox.

How to use these lessons

Begin with vocabulary, then move to email phrasing and notes. Watch the transitions between names, punctuation, and the next sentence. Read complete phrases before typing so that a familiar opening does not cause you to substitute your own wording.

Copying a passage and writing an original email are different tasks. These drills measure keyboard practice, while composition also takes time to choose what to say. After the course, use non-confidential sample text in custom practice to work on the sentence patterns you use most often.

Start with a careful attempt, then repeat the lesson with attention to one difficult transition. Compare results within the same lesson rather than across unrelated passages. Completion and best scores stay in this browser when local storage is available. These exercises are practice, not professional certification.
