2. Speed-Burst Drills
Short, familiar words repeated in quick succession, meant to be typed as fast as you can push, since there's little decoding required to slow you down.
This drill is short and repetitive on purpose, so you can push your absolute ceiling without the cognitive load of reading unfamiliar text. Expect your WPM here to run noticeably higher than on varied prose; that gap is normal and shows how much of typing speed is really about the words you already know cold.
This is lesson 2 of 4 in the advanced course. These drills assume full comfort with the entire keyboard already; they're built to sharpen specific qualities of your typing, accuracy under temptation, raw ceiling speed, rhythm, and real-world mixed content, rather than teach new keys.
