About KeysInFlow

KeysInFlow is a free typing platform built to help people of all skill levels type faster and more accurately. Whether you're learning to touch type for the first time, brushing up before a typing test, or just curious how fast you really are, KeysInFlow gives you the tools, lessons, and games to get there, without asking for anything in return.

Why we built it

Most typing sites make you create an account before they'll show you a single word of practice text, then surround that practice text with ads, popups, and upsells for a "premium" tier. We found that frustrating as typists ourselves, so we built the site we actually wanted to use: everything works the moment the page loads, with no email address, no password, and no paywall standing between you and practicing.

What KeysInFlow offers

The site is organized into four parts. Tools cover the practical side: a typing test, a WPM and accuracy calculator, a keyboard tester, a keyboard latency tester, and a custom practice creator for your own text. Lessons teach proper technique from scratch, progressing from individual fingers to full hands to complete beginner-to-advanced typing. Games turn practice into something closer to play, with a racing game, a word-blasting game, a word chain game, and a falling-words game. And the Blog will carry typing tips, keyboard reviews, and productivity advice as we publish it.

How we handle your data

KeysInFlow doesn't have user accounts, and it doesn't need them. Your scores, streaks, and lesson progress are saved directly in your browser's local storage, never on a server we control. We don't know who you are, and we're not trying to find out. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
